North Jakarta Government holds Clean Up Jakarta Day this Saturday (9/15) by cleaning areas surround Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC) and Jl. Kramat Raya.

North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau said, Clean Up Jakarta Day is participated by all stakeholders and local residents.
West Jakarta Ready to Support Clean Up Jakarta Day in Kota Tua"Apparatuses and residents will collaborate to clean up all over North Jakarta areas," he mentioned.
In this chance, North Jakarta Government also holds morning assembly regarding rain season anticipation in Koja Sub-district.
"Today we will ensure North Jakarta to prepare for rainy season. Not only for Koja, but also other areas," he affirmed.
He wants all sub-districts, urban villages and related UKPDs apparatuses to ensure water channels' flow is not clogged by trash thus it will not cause inundation and flood.
"I remind people for not throwing trash carelessly," he stated.
Meanwhile, Koja Sub-district Head, Yusuf Madjid explained, around 1,500 personnel deployed to conduct Clean Up Jakarta Day together with residents.
He mentioned, this cleaning is more focused in residents participation. Based on its concept, five residents will be placed in each locations with assistance from two personnel.
"Our concept is to encourage Jakartans and all stakeholders to arrange Jakarta. Awareness to be involved in developing City should be realized continuously. Tomorrow, we will continue to involve residents in this activity that will be held in 82 RWs in Koja Sub-districts," he said.
